Yesterday I got an e-mail from United Airlines that my 3,478 miles were set to expire on November 30th. My son graduates the Marines basic training on 13 Nov so I thought I would see how far the miles might take me. First of all, I couldn't get a direct flight from O'Hare to San Diego resulting in a stop in Denver and over 6 hours of total flight time. Second, the amount of miles I have won't even get me to Lincoln, Nebraska. :isadizzy:
