The day just keeps getting better :jump:

Thanks PAD for this Pocket Rocket :applause:

Thanks also to Flyboy for the tip on the sounds. I've also aliased mine to the Veneaviones Turbo Commander ...... a match made in heaven :d

Pete.

This bird is great PAD! The blue tint/hue on the plexiglass is just right. The gear animation is right, and the headon profile including the scoops of the Garret TPE331-10-501M's looks great.

Thanks again PAD! Mike :applause:

.
That is an airplane I'll never forget!

Over 35-years ago I had to made an approximate 550 mile one-way, round-trip flight to New York in one of those with a client who chain-smoked cigars. By the end of the day I had turned a sicking shade of green  and my suit smelled so bad that my wife made me leave it outside before she would let me into the house! :d

In 1979 he and the pilot were killed while trying to land it at the airport in Provo, Utah late at night during a snow storm. They flew it straight into a frozen lake.

Thanks PAD, for this "odd little beauty". This plane has always intrigued me.

<-- "Opens storeage closet and finds buckets full of dried paint... NUTS!"

So maybe Sean Doran or Jankees and others will give us some new schemes for the MU-2S.

Awesome News!! I haven't even downloaded yet and I know it'll be a hit. Great job PAD. Well Done!!!:ernae::ernae:

Hats off to P.A.D. Been enjoying there work lately in FSX, particulalry the DHC turbo props which fills a needed gap and also good if you like bush flying in Alaska and Canada.

Have always thought the Mu Tu was the coolest GA aircraft going ever since I saw one as a kid at Fishers Island where the longer runway is 2400' . Put some RR Dart sounds on it (not correct of course) to give that high pitched screechy whine. Great! :jump:

Thanks PAD andf Pointy for the HU.

I got the FSX Mu-2, but I also got one of my all time faves since FS2002 for FS2004. :applause:

Thanks Krazy,

I was playing around with the rear main gear contact points last night and found that the plane kept leaning to the left. That must be what was doing it. Finding bugs can be like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Great model! Did you see two luggage doors that open?

Bill

I started a quick paint, and found the horizontal stabilisers are transparent!
Any body else have this?
