Some screenies of Water REX

That is good news then! Thanks for letting us know.

I'm waiting on Tim to send me the files, anxiously. With any luck I'll be making the promotional for it.

Thats looks great...How was it on performance?

I'm getting it as soon as my rig works right......

And probably just loosing FEX at the time....

How are the frame rates ? My rig is only single core, but they look excellent if I can run with it.

DX10 is turned off, I get the flickers with that on.

I do too limjack, especially the runway taxi markings. Knocks my fps down by 3 to 4 from DX9 too. Will not allow ported over FS9 aircraft in DX10. DX10 stays off.

Dreamy shot mate, does the shallow water knock your frame rates like they do mine? Otherwise, REX has had no hits on my fps.

It would be nice if, when opening REX's interface, you were not presented with the installation of texture options window, but simply lead into the main set-up page.

I get that water with my actual stuff or very similiar!!!!!!......have you tried putting water to 100%?.....it does not mess up fps.......one less addon to buy.:stop:

That was my first flight, the I am excited get me in the air shot. I deleted my Fsx.cfg file and had it rebuild another one and now I have got some stutters. So I will have to go in and apply my tweaks again and hope the stutters go away. My Fps seem to be the same. Will go to seatac where I have measured the fps in certain conditions and see if any changes.

Got my notes out on fps at seatac and no hits. The same as before.
Took a flight from Seattle down to Portland and it was fantastic! This is what I needed. I felt like I was emerged in the clouds. So many different variations as I flew through them. It felt like the real thing. Took some shots of course, the bonus was when I landed at kpdx in a rain shower...look at that runway...love it. Thanks TIM and CREW!!!!

Hey Limjack sorry to hear you had problems........I have two systems and one is almost exactly like yours. It is in that one where I first was able to move the water slider to 100% with no jerks or loss of fps. FSX is messy allright, same rig and different performance........just like the old carburator cars......same car different go go.......hope you solve your woe soon....:wavey:-------------------Now those clouds are a different story....looks great!!!!

Thanks Gera, did another defrag and on that last trip no stutters so that must of been it. Still need to apply my tweaks but too busy with the new toy exploring..:jump:
