Screenshot utility for P3D V2.2

AussieMan

SOH Staff .."Bartender"
Over time I have been using "Snapper" to take screenshots in Flight Sim. Unfortunately it has stopped working in P3D V2 and I have had to re-programme the 'V' key away from another use.

I am not sure if it is also connected to the fact that I am also running a 64bit system. Has anyone have ideas how to get it to work please.

I was also using Snapper Pat, but it won't retain any info I set in the options after I close it. Got to be a PITA resetting it every time I want to take a screenshot and the developer doesn't return e-mails so I went back to using Fraps for screenies.

For about 10 years I have been using YAFSScreen for everything until the Y key took pictures in FS., still use it to capture banking screens, other games, etc.
Have no idea if runs on newer/64 bit systems, or P3D, but you might give it a try, maybe change compatibly mode if doesn't work.
Set your options to save path, file format, quality, etc.
Start and minimize, when you need a screen capture just hit the Print Scrn key.
It's a very small program and just keeps on ticking for me even after the Win98 days (ok, I'm still on XP).
You can find out about it and download here:

Curious to see if it works for you, let me know if ok (will have to upgrade to Win7 eventually).
(good excercise for me, download version is newer than the one I was using)
Hope this helps.

The one thing I liked with Snapper was the fact that you could get a location and altitude with the screenshot and if needed for a scenery problem you could also get a Lat/Long.
