Justin Wilson's Idea For Oval Racing

A better idea regarding safety would be to get rid of all stands and only watch the races on TV... :banghead:

To be serious, who would pay for a seat where you can only see a ridiculously short part of the track ? One of the best thing with an oval track is that you can see most (if not all) of the track from anywhere on the stands

People who go to Le Mans, the 'Ring, Bathurst, Spa, Road America, Philip Island, Silverstone, Laguna Seca, Circuit of the Americas ..................................almost anywhere in the World.
Me, myself, the best of the best is the Isle of Man TT week.

I should have written "who would pay for a seat around an oval track where you can only see a ridiculously short part of the track ?"

Of course, since the subject was oval racing safety, I was not thinking about road tracks...

Do not blaspheme Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The one indycar venue that draws capacity crowds... 250,000 last year, expected to go far over that this year...

There is a huge spectator visibility on that track... and... it's INDY. again, do not blaspheme the holy site.
