It's a MkXIV, but the RealAir Spit is really the best one out there, hands down....

The RAS Spitfire actually disappoints me - I honestly am not sure just why. I think my biggest beef with it is the lack of reflectivity in VC. Maybe also I find the texturing too flat - I tend to like bright colors, but everything about the RAS Spit seems to be a light, faded olive color, from the pilot to the gauge faces, so I no longer use most of the stock textures.
I'd say your spot on, the VC in this particular Spitfire, being very detailed and appealing, the texture and reflectivity are a bit disapointing.
Couldn't agree with you more.
at the risk of highjacking the thread, please, Please, PLEASE could someone post a step by step guide to porting Bruno's Spitfires from CFS2 to FS2004. I know it's supposed to be so "oh so simple", but I'd really appreciate having some detailed instructions that I don't have to try to interpret for my first ever try at this,
thanks in advance,
regards,
Ro

Yago9 has some beautiful repaints for the RealAir Spitfire in the outhouse.
I would go so far as saying that the RealAir Spit IV for FS9 (The only one I have), is one of the all time greats even after a couple of years! Just check out Yagos repaint screenshots!
