• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

FM-1 Wildcat UK Skinpack 2 by UncleTgt

This is a collection of repaints for Captain Kurt's FM-1 Wildcat for CFS 2. I've included an expanded DP file, which changes the nation to UK & adds a couple more latewar bombloads,& uses my British Bombs.

The textures represent aircraft of Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm squadrons, & are:

S - X JV338 - 882 sqn FAA, based aboard HMS Searcher for Operation Judgement, Norway, 4th May 1945.

"S" JV435 - 890 sqn FAA, based on board HMS Atheling for Operation Councillor, Indian oOcean, June 1944.

7 - F JV400 - 898 sqn FAA, based at USNAS Brunswick January 1944 whilst dockyard repairs undertaken to HMS Searcher. Pilot Sub Lt. G Waite.

7 - X JV538 - 898 sqn FAA based aboard HMS Searcher for Operation Hoops, a strike on Norwegian coastal shipping, 8th May 1944. The pilot was Sub. Lt John A Cotching, the Royal Navy's top Wildcat scorer, but he was killed when shot down at low level by flak over the target.

To install, unzip the download to a temporary location & move/ copy files to the matching folder names inside your chosen CFS 2 install.

Thanks to: Captain Kurt for an excellent model of the GM FM-1 Wildcat.

This is freeware and subject to the usual conditions.
