There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

That guy has a most excellent YouTube channel that I subscribe to!I think this YT movie explains the problem which Red Bull drivers are facing very well.
To answer your question Ed, I think when Daniel Ricciardo would have stayed with Red Bull he would have most probably grown into the problem with the car, and it is likely he would be better of dealing with this problem. However when I looked at Daniel's results in his last races, he was not as fast as he used to be. So I think he would have been replaced anyhow.
So for ma a more interesting question is "where would Carlos Sainz be when he would have stayed with the Red Bull family".

-Don't think so about LeClerc....Somewhat reminds me of when Berger/Alesi tried to drive the Schumacher Benetton.....I have been following all three FIA formulas during my (enforced!) recovery and am bemused at the strange situation that Hamilton finds himself in with the 'Red Cars'. LeClerc is outperforming him and the car. Strange! IMHO I do think that Hamilton needs to STFU and get on with learning how to fit in with the team, all the odd communications during racing need to cease!
As for Red Bull, if they continue building their car around Verstappen's preferences the second driver will be just another grid filler. Post the Spanish round they seem to be making noise about 'drafting' Isak Hadjar into the second car........a very bad move for the emerging rookie of the year.
As for Lindblad, at 17 he's doing fairly well in F2 but he's not ready for F1!
I still think Oscar is quietly moving ahead of Lando, Spain was a good demonstration of a cool head doing the business.
Max is getting desperate, shame as he showed just how good he really is with his drives at Suzuka and Imola, but too much 'Red Mist' in Spain. Mercedes have been pretty good courtesy of Russell, Monaco excepted, while Williams have dropped off the pace as Vowles had stated their intention was to concentrate on the 2026 car.
Aston Martin and Newey seem to be at odds, apparently Stroll Senior is unhappy that Newey hasn't been interested in fixing the current car and concentrating on the 2026 design.
And I do hope that Stroll Junior is finally 'retired', his antics in Spain might just give Phillipe Drugovich a chance at Montreal and beyond.
Ferrari really should have kept Carlos BTW.

Yeah it's like Ferrari needs to bring back Ross Brawn and Jean TodtI'm curious about LeClerc's future, he's been with Ferrari for 7 years now and they haven't come up with a championship winning car.
He reminds me of Alesi, huge potential but not quite able to capitalize on it.
Here's curious blast from the past............when Martin Brundle drove for Bennetton in 1993 (I think) he often outqualified Schumacher and outraced him on occasion. IIRC Berger and Alesi drove for Benneton after Schumacher had left for Ferrari, around 1996 - 1997, when Bennetton became the de facto Renault team.
Newey will probably design something that will be competitive but unless they get 2 decent drivers on board AM will be depending on Fernando!
