2 CFS2 Birds That Do The Trick In FS9

NRM

The over-hauled CFS2 planes, done by The B-24 Guy, can be found in the library here (but you need the original CFS2 planes to build off of). Or you can get them on Netwings.org. For some of the planes, there will be a couple downloads and some file swapping to be done to get them fully updated (VCs improved, improved flight dynamics, demirrored textures, animation fixes). I have all the overhauled stock CFS2 planes installed in FS2004...and all of them work except for the Avenger...which I can not get to work for any thing.

Some of the planes will need air and config file tweaking to get them to fly right in FS2004...but all animations work, VCs work. The overhauled Zero and F6F are definitely worth having, the Dauntless is good, the P-39 is the best freeware model going in my opinion..especially after the updates and paints that were done for the plane last year (I shined the MDL, did some skins for the plane, and a number of other CFS2 addicts joined the party and cranked out a lovely collection of skins for the various Airacobra variants).

Thicko has produced a good collection of CFS2 models and so far every one of them that I have dropped into FS2004 has worked beautifully.

William Dickens (Bismarck13) has a nice collection of aircraft for CFS2 that work very well in FS2004...and some of them have been done in FS2004 versions to boot.

I have been flying the "Modified CFS2 Stock Corsair" in FS9 for years. I took the FS2002 airfile for that hog and it works just fine for me.
