A Lockheed "Rounder"

Oops! I spotted a texture glitch on NZ4701's nose! Here's the corrected texture; please copy and allow to overwrite when prompted
I also spotted the following text in the aircraft CFG; there was a typo mistake, NZ4702 which should be NZ4703, see below, so if you're able to do so, please adjust it...

Another repaint, this one is"Black 24" of VPB139, Attu 1945. In the photo reference of Black 24 it's external fuel tanks were bare metal so I replicated them here. Fairly easy one to repaint. Soon will be uploaded.

Vega Ventura PV-1 Solid Nose

Well, I am kind of waiting for some things now so decided to do a solid nose variant representing later models.

Here are some paint schemes for you to consider for the Ventura coming "soon".

EDITED for Clarity. We will have 2-3 paint schemes, none of the ones on this attachment.

LOL Just to clarify, we are not doing those paint schemes. We will have 2-3 released with the package.

I posted them for you guys for some examples that are out there if you are interested.

Lol Milton you led me down the garden path :biggrin-new:

I've done another skin, a VPB142 PV-2, Marianas Islands 1945. A bit of a plain scheme but pictures on the net of Pacific PV-2s seems to be few and far between.

I've got a folder on my desktop that I keep current paint projects in. I'd be just as well to rename it "Virtual Lockheed". Inside are Shooting Stars, T-Birds, Harpoons, Lodestars and now I'm going to have to clean out a corner for Venturas. A guy could have worse problems I suppose. LOL

I started a paint on a Harpoon a few months back that was actually used by a Ventura out of Attu. The real aircraft disappeared on a mission to the Kurile Islands and was found in Russia several years ago. The paint morphed into something else, but I still have the reference pics and with a solid nose Ventura, I can do it right. Bomber 31 may well fly again.
