A new Cessna 150-K 'Ti Bush is released on French-VFR

For the moment, I was working on my first project (started in 2008 and ...) to test ambient occlusions and Substance Painter textures.
My first tests are quite encouraging and I think I can transpose these advances in terms of texturing on the futur Cessna v2 Taildragger.

It's a Ménestrel HN-700 (ULM type RCA) powered by a Rotax 912S and realized by a Frenchman during his leisure time.

Thanks for the info, I will try it again when I get home but as you can see from the attached screenshot the switches above the radio are all in the on position and the radio itself is powered up (you can confirm by the LED's showing the frequencies). I will report if I discover anything in my testing.

I am back to report no problem with the radio. I had tried another AC and then switched to the C150 and it worked, so I quit the sim and restarted it going to the C150 directly, again no problem. It must have been what ever I was using before I tried it the first time.
Sorry for the false report.

Is it possible to make the windows clear (no tint) on the FSX version of the c150 Bush lagaffe?

I know you included some different colour tints and scratches but even using the clear windows they are darker than the world outside.

Hi,

It's possible ... As you see on my last creation: Menestrel HN-700 (the screenshot tree answers before this post), I have found a good texture and also a parametring which give all satisfaction. This will be add to the version 2.

I the release pof the C150 Tibush you have an directory "alternatives" where I hav store some other textures. Glass_CV_natural_noblurred.dds can be use for this aim.

You can also use DXTBmp to transforme one copy of this files in BMP and with Gimp or Photoshop modify it to clear it.
After that you should use DXTBmp to convert your work in *.dds in order to use it in FSX.

After three days of hollidays, somes pics of my work on the cockpit of this Menestrel HN-700 with Substance Painter 2.

The textures that are made from Substance Painter 2, have required quite a lot of investment in the software since Christmas but I think I have found a good workflow that gives satisfaction and that allows despite the fact that the tool is rather designed for PBR textures to get "basic" textures that you just have to arrange in your graphics software to get the final texture.

For the moment the Bumps are not finished for the interior cockpit but the plane and its pilot are 300 Mo, the MDL weigh 14 Mo each and the whole is only 174 000 polys.... That said I still have a lot of details to add and animations to include.

Now that's what I call a PIC. It will be an absolute pleasure to sit in the right seat next to her. I'll look at the map - some of the time.
Formidable mon amis.

Definitely a fellow pilot I'd like to explore the bush with.

Sorry!
