• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

A2A P40 for P3D V3

Anyone out there in P3D V3 land use the now free P40 and port it over to FSX?

I think the P3D V3 users are between sizes as far as versions go i.e. one for FSX and One for P3D V4

although over at Simarket there is one edition of the P40 that after you download and read the manual it stats that two

P40 install files were included - one for P3D V1-3 and one for V4 of P3d - uhhh no. One just for V4 was all that was included:

I ported the FSX version over to FSX using a copy of FSX.exe and that was all the fsx version needed to install and it populated

folders with various files that I copied over to P3D V3.4 - The Maintenance Hanger use to make noises, tools sounds etc but now

it doesn't and I tried to reinstall it to no avail. I've been over to the A2A forum fishing for a fix or advice and no takers so far.

The A2A peeps told me that a P3D V3 version was not made. So the manual was in error about a P3d v3 Version.

Hoping some P3d v3 user that installed the P40 will read this and offer some help on the absence of Maintenance Hanger sounds.

I had installed it once and had no issues but had other P3D issues and had to do some repair and then reinstall the P40 again.
