A2A Spitfire No.19 Squadron QV-J - Repaint for the A2A Spitfire

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Spitfire in the colors of Spitfire Mk IIa P7849 QV-J, which was flown by Flt Lt Walter Lawson of 19 Squadron, based in Fowlmere in June 1941. He used this aircraft to shoot down two Bf-109s. The aircraft was later converted to a Mk. V and flew with the USAAF. Flt Lt Lawson disappeared during a mission to Rotterdam in August 1942.
