A2A's simulator setup.

Josh Patterson

SOH-CM-2023
A2A Simulations had an awesome 182 setup in their trailer at EAA this year! Three large screens, full panel, yoke and rudder pedals. Since I haven't flown as PIC since 2008 (in a 172) I though I'd have a go. I was having difficulty! The panel itself seemed to be an overlay on a monitor as all the gauges were rendered VERY convincingly! Totally wish I had the cash for the setup. Don't know the price, but you know the saying, If you have to ask.....
As a side note, having flown a lot in Just Flight's DC-8 I was able to instantly recognize a partial flight engineer's panel in the Fly Market that was for sale. (And that they had it laid out incorrectly!) Without any gauges, just switches and lights one of the three panels was $175. Needless to say they didn't come home with me.:sorrow:
