• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

ive been using active weather advanced.....
i use my local airport ,and im on a ridge that over looks the airport..i know when its raining and low cieling here..i can SEE its raining and low clouds there.....yet when i use awa..it comes up with partly cloudy and no rain..although today..at my house have have winds varying from 3.5mph to 8 mph..awa says gusts to 26mph...

are there some settings im missing?..somewhere i need to go within awa to tell it more info for my local airport?..i have it at KAUN now...but i dont know what else to do to get a more accuate weather....

It may be taking the last available report, whenever that was. Other than that, your guess is as good as mine.:isadizzy:
 
From what I understand of how they work, all weather programs rely on the lasted info available to them. If the data is old, you won't have the latest up to date weather.
