Aer Macchi C.202 Folgore test flight (TFF Video)

A quick 10 minute video of Folgore test flight. This was my second flight in the Folgore. Reminds me of flying the Fokker Dr.1 by Neoqb in how handle the controls. Very cool! Also, I didn't setup the flight for movie mood, so I was flying with extreme scenery settings. Recording with Fraps, I usually set scenery to Dense, to reduce stuttering. -Ted (TFF)

Great video Ted, it really shows off the aircraft very well! I especially like the unique camera views/perspectives, and how the camera moves both with the aircraft while at the same time independently from the aircraft, reproducing the look of the aircraft being filmed from another aircraft (I enjoy using this tactic for taking screenshots as well) - the landing and air-shots are very 'One Six Right' like (you'll understand if you've seen the film). ; )

While I don't know enough about the Folgore to know if it is spot-on/accurate, but I love the maneuverability, controllability, and power that this aircraft has in the sim.

(BTW, for those who have not yet noticed, you can slide the side-window panels, independently, as well, so you don't have to taxi with the canopy swung over, if you would prefer not to, in order to get some air into the cockpit or provide some extra room to look around the nose.)

Thanks for the info John, didn't check all the extras. Just wanted to check if the aircraft is worthy to keep my hangar.

I loved your video Ted... :icon29:

You showed it just as I enjoy flying my planes too...

A few short spells in the cockpit (which is rather nice, BTW) and lots of outside flying to get some air and look at the plane do its stuff !

Nice airfield and lots of scenery.

Cheers,

Fleurdelys
