Someone else posted a question about how to set-up AI Traffic, I myself used this information.

So were's the best place on the net to get AI aircraft. I like not to have to learn how to convert flyable planes right now.:friday:

Appriciate the Feedback.

Avsim, Flightsim, and right here. Enjoy!

World of AI for planes/flightplan packages. I found a cool program called AI Flight Creator that I've used to create a GA traffic bgl of my own. Once you get into this, it's fun to see your airports come to life, waiting for takeoff clearance is the bugger though :icon_lol:

Henry Tomkiewicz at http://www.HTAImodels.com

I have his payware Cessna Single-Engine Props package flying everywhere and it is excellent. The package includes a rather huge number of texture sets (paint schemes).

There are also a number of free AI aircraft on the downloads page. These come with just a basic white texture, but they have outstanding paint kits -- probably my favorites as far as layers, texture layout and ease of use.

Would be terrific to see Mr. Tomkiewicz get a chance to finish his Piper Single-Engine Props package too.

Dee Waldron's old Flight Sim Community Projects web site is hosted by HTAI and there are more AI models there also.

P.S.
Cessna Single-Engine Props is also at the FSPilotShop (flightsim.com) if you are more comfortable with an established merchant.

Calclassic - complete 50's 60's era piston engined AI planes.

Convairs, Stratocruisers, DC-3/4/6/7, Connies, - tons of good stuff.

I'm confused, every tutorial i've read on the internet about creating AI, they all say delete the sound. Why is that?

The AI doesn't use the sound folder in the aircraft so taking it out saves HD space. AI gets it's sounds from the main Sound folder in FS not from the aircraft's folder.

Leaving the panel in will hurt frame rates as FS will be reading all the gauges in panel and loading it up as if it was being flown. Best to just leave 'em both out.
