Excellent! I wonder if anyone could suggest any Alpine airfields that might be period appropriate?
if you fly FS2004, then Alexander Belov's Adriatic 1914-18 scenery is a rather atmospheric, one of a kind period scenery for that locale: https://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=adriatic+belov especially developed by Belov to fly the Austrian Lohner seaplanes by Craig Richardson (@full here at SOH) and the late Damian "Windrunner" Radice @ the Old Hangar

While the scenery features a detailed Kumbor sea base on the Bay of Kotor, the backdated Tivat (LYTV) airfield is generally barebones; there is factually nought, besides a clearing and a grass airstrip, but at least one can take off and explore the scenic WWI setting; also included is a custom landclass for the region. Moreover, a good Alpine mesh is highly recommended to explore the Tivat Valley / Dinaric Alps

cheers!

Thanks Wolfbww, yes I di have that in my GW3 install and it is some really great scenery. I remember sometime back there was a CFS2 scenery called Alpin Fields (I think), but I can not find it anywhere now. This wonderful skin would be just right for it.
