Hi folks...sorry about my absence. busy, busy, busy.:d

I'm still arguing with my sound set for the Fokker EV and needed to take a step back from it. I decided to start another old bird and chose the Albatross DII. Here's a couple of WIP shots. It's all of 3 days into the modeling but I like it so far.

Hope you guys dig it. :ernae:
Cheers
Randy

Thanks Caz..I like the DII better than the DVa myself,so that's what I decided on.. I'll be making paintkits available too for all releases form here on out.:d:ernae:
Cheers

Goodness Randy! Looks great man.

Ive always loved the Pfalz aircraft lines. The cool fuselages were way ahead of their time and so different from all the other aircraft types.

Bill

Thanks Mike and Bill.:ernae:

You are right Bill, it still amazes me that something this elegant in shape was designed so early in the history of powered flight...sure was fun modeling the fuselage too..lol:isadizzy:

Here's a shot of it in game...I can never resist getting what I'm building into the sim for a peek :d

Cheers
Randy

Thats great Randy will be looking forward to her and will be very nice to fly ,But when are we going to see the D-VIII finished.
Joseph

Very nice choice Randy. I considered the shape of the Albatross and Pfalz aircrafts always very appealing. :applause:

Nevertheless I hope you will finish the Fokkers (D-VII and D-VIII) first, as I have quite some repaint planned for the D-VII.

Hopelfully there will be FSX versions as well, as FSX desperately needs some high quality WW-I aircrafts :jump:.

fear not gents...the package for the EV/DVIII is finished except for my sounds,(they just arent write right yet). 4 models and 20 paints.

I'm just getting on the Albatross because I'm pissed at my sounds and would rather step back and refresh myself before I dive back into those again...:D

looks great :applause: :ernae:But please call it "Werkstatt" :costumes: German is a very difficult language......... ROFL :d

3 days and you have the bulk of an aircraft. I spent 3 days in Gmax and made a Tic Tac.

Any chance of making a CFS2 version of that plane and any future works? We Basement dwellers could use another source for new aircraft.

Randy,

One of the (many) things which make the models by Stuart Green so special are the working rockers. Will they work on this model as well?
