• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Goodbye and good riddance 2016! I'm going to miss Ickie, he did so much for this community, I can only hope that he knew how much he meant to us. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. He gets his own wings now, he most certainly earned them.:engel016:
 
I had the pleasure to chat with Ickie sometimes and he was "IS" a great guy. R.I.P. my friend.

Just reading this now, although I was afraid something was amiss, reading his post before Christmas.

Always sad to lose a friend we care about. Ron made SOH such an enjoyable place to come and spend some time with friends who have the same interest at heart, the love of flight simulators. RIP Ron and thank you.
 
Still trying to wrap my head around Ickie passing. Rest in peace Ron. Gonna miss seeing the squirrel.
 
Sad news, and as many have said already, Ickie made the out-house a better place to come and spend some time. Gonna miss Ron and that crazy squirrel of his.

Just learned of this today, and am saddened by the news. My most heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. SOH won't be the same without him.
