• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Guys, I decided to merge all the threads on Ickie into one...it's easier to read them now...Mike >>>> Hey Ron, I know by now you have pulled what is left of your hair out...lol. I also know ya put way too many countless hours getting the site back up for our pleasure. I just want to take the time and say . JOB WELL DONE AGAIN! If it weren't for you we wouldn't have a great place to meet. I received many private emails worrying about what happen. I just said hang in there cus I know we had the right person at the wheel handling everything....Thanks so much for all the afford and pain staking hours you put in :ernae: ...Mike

My friend Ickie is having open heart surgery today

I thought our members would like to know Henry received a call from Ickie at the Hospital getting ready for open heart surgery today. He let the admins know in our forums that this was coming up but he wanted to get the server switched out before he went in for the operation. He never had enough time to check to see if he had gotten the forums up and running.Ron is up at the crack of dawn till late hours making sure everything is right and safe for everybody's enjoyment.He is really the true heart of SOH.Ron has always put in countless hours and has never once asked for a penny for the many hours he donates for FREE. Please take the time and say a prayer for a quick and safe recovery...I already miss him.

I'd like to say "thank you" as well. I was going into withdrawals without SOH, really missed it. Thanks, Ickie, for all of your hard work and effort.
 
Best wishes and speedy recovery Ickie and thank you for all your hard work . Right now I'm working on one year after having two stents put in one artery . The cath did show the rest of the cardiac arteries looked fairly good so maybe I can postpone open heart longer now .
