Alpha Sim Shorts Tucano T-1 Repaints?

OBIO

Retired SOH Admin
I came across the freeware Alpha Sims Shorts Tucano T-1 (originally a FS9 release, but also released for FS2002 and CFS2). The stock skin is the black one with the yellow stripes....absolutely devoid of any panel lines or separation between parts. Does anyone know of any repaints for the plane that I could use to develop a repaint kit from?

Did you mean Sim Shed OBIO? They did a FS9 Short's Tucano but I'm not sure if it was also for FS2002 and CFS2. It also came with three paint schemes not just a single one.

Yep, Alpha Sim. Found on Flightsim.com. astuct1.zip

My bad...it was released IN 2004, not FOR 2004. FS2002 and CFS2 only. The modeling is nice, the animations are nice.....the rear seat pilot/instructor can be switched on and off with the D (dive brake) key in CFS2.

I have begun work on reskinning the AS Tucano. I have no clue if the panel lines I am creating are accurate or not....but they look better than no panel lines at all. Takes a good bit of trial and error to get them in the proper places, but that is half the fun in skinning a plane.
