Alphasim Cessna 170B Repaints ???

I feel so lucky to have this little GA aircraft in my hangar. And am very thankful to the folks at ALPHASIM for this freeware gift.

Was hoping someone out there has some repaints in mind.

Repaints would be a great thing... and maybe switching the pilot to a guy.
Not that I have anything against women, I'd just rather pretend to be a guy!:icon_lol:

Yep, same thing I have against the Aerosoft Super Cub package. . .great aircraft, lots of variations and repaints and every one of them flown by a girl. . . .so how many women have you come across who are avid Flightsim enthusiasts as compared to the number of guys who enjoy flightsim. . . .I've been flying flight simulation programs for years and have yet to come across even one. . .so why do an entire line of aircraft flown by a woman. . .makes no sense to me at all. . .maybe that's why the whole package is selling for $8.00, lol.
 
Yep...Alpha Sim recently released it as a freeware package...along with a few others. Can be found in the SOH library, seach by author for AlphaOldies. There are freeware packages there from nearly the entire history of Alpha Sim. I think I have every single one downloaded and installed (or had them installed until my recent HD poop).

I've known three in the past, and two currently. But still, the percentage is quite small.

As far as Alpha freebies... I have them all. Saved on an outboard hard drive. Everything from CFS2 to FS9. The Cessna 170B is a beautiful model, fun to putz around the dogpatch in. I would like to see a few repaints as well.

As for the pilot, I prefer guys over gals too but I have several models that have lady drivers in them including the Nemeth Designs MD500E Helicopter. I also toyed around with editing the faces of pilots in aircraft. Francesca Neri is the current "driver" for all of Kirk's F1 Mirages that I currently have in my hangars. You all know who she is... right?

I really like the 170. Nicely put together.

I don't care for the chick driving, nor do I like the sounds. The engine sound really over powers the rest. I almost have to turn the sound off to enjoy the flight without thinking I need ear plugs.

Then again..I can't look a gift horse in the mouth can I
 
there is no paintkit !
but will try to paint some fictional paints maybe searching for real schemes later
