Hot off the press, "Jake" callsign for VS-38, the Red Griffins, S-3 Viking.
Tested in FS9, should work in FSX?
IMPORT using EditVoicePack then update your aircraft.cfg file using "atc_airline=JAKE".
Next, TOPCAT callsign for VS-31 Topcats, S-3 Viking.
Import using EditVoicePack then change your VS-31 entries in your S-3 aircrfat.cfg as follows:
atc_airline=TOPCAT
Note that VS-31 is one of the "stock" texture sets in the DSB/IRIS S-3 for FS9 and there are numerous VS-31 repaints online.
Tested in FS9 but should also work in FS2002 and FSX.
Speaking of the Viking, there's something I've wondered about.
I use a lot of the Antonio Diaz repaints that were for the "IRIS DSB S-3" and aside front having to replace the VC combing texture, the VC cockpit looks like its set up more for the older steam gauges:
Does anyone have the "more IRIS steam gauge" panel folder?
I'd like to play around with it. I usually swap out the IRIS VC panel texture for the DSB version but sometimes I forget.
ORION callsign for the default KBT P-3 Orion family (JSDF).
Just IMPORT using EditVoicePack, update, then save.
KBT's JSDF P-3's are already set up for this callsign.
For the VF-33 and F-8 Crusader fans, here's the "Tarbox" callsign I found by Scott Minty.
I fixed some grammer issues that was driving EditVoicePack nuts.
For the F-8 Crusader, go to the [general] section in the aircraft.cfg file and make the following changes:
Generic "color-number" call signs for Soviet/Warsaw Pact (Cold War) and German (WWII) military aircraft based on the color of the "buzz number" painted on the fuse. You can also use these call signs for US bombers and fighters flying over Viet...
sim-outhouse.org
Generic "color/number" call signs ("White One Four", "Blue Two Three", etc.) , mostly for WWII German and Cold War Warsaw Pact fighters and bombers.
Call signs include Black, Blue, Green, Red, White, and Yellow.
UPDATE- Dang it anyway, EVP is worse than an old Grammar teacher. I missed some text for the YELLOW and WHITE call signs. I'll update the full zip file, but for now just use the fixed versions attached to this post. Also, make you sure you only add one call sign at a time. "BLUE" may already be added to your updated EVP voice mod if you installed the basic EVP update pack.
With the upload of GW's WACO 10 series of planes, here's an update for some modern radio comms.
This EVP adds the Aircraft Type for any Model Ten planes.
IMPORT using EditVoicePack then make the following changes to the [general] section of the aircraft,cfg file:
[General]
atc_type=WACO
atc_model=10
editable=0
When you check in with ATC you'll hear "Waco Ten" instead of "Waco One Zero".
You could also try this mod which uses stock FS9 voice segments-
