• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Do we have any chrome users here? Im having a issue. Everytime i go google something or go my page to access gmail I got this all day long
The Server's Security Certificate is revoked. However on IE no problems, don't know about FF. Heck I cant even send google a love tap about the problem thru Chrome lol.

If you are having this issue on multiple sites your PC may be infected with malware. What AV are you using? I'd suggest installing Microsoft Security Essentials if you aren't already using it.

We get that at work sometimes, luckily we also usually get a "proceed anyway" option button. I've also learned to look at the top right of the Google page for a pop up notice because sometimes you can "always allow pop ups from this site" and at least that problem is taken care of. There is also a "manage certificates" in the Settings/Show Advanced Settings, then scroll down a little. I've never changed things in there but it might be worth a look. If anything, another browser, FF, Opera, IE, would be a go-around.

Found this on a Chrome help forum:

"If this started yesterday (Wed, Nov 21st) then it looks very likely that you have a malware infection I'm afraid.
There appears to be a strain of malware which is intercepting HTTPS connections. I pushed a Chrome update yesterday to revoke its key, which causes the behaviour that you're seeing. The sites are likely to still work in other browsers, but the malware is probably monitoring everything.

Microsoft Security Essentials has been reported to have worked in a few cases to remove it: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/security-essentials-download

(If you do have success with MSSE, please post any reports or logs here - i.e. the name of the malware that it found/removed.)

However, reinstalling from clean media is the only sure-fire method to remove everything."
