There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Google Translate, James? ChatGPT etc?Very interesting and some good stuff. Need to work out what it all means WRT the legend.
Yeah I will do that; just lazy!!! If a stupid translation I'll ask, as we all know the Dutch speak other's languages better than the natives often do! It's a fact!Google Translate, James? ChatGPT etc?
Admittedly, Google often literally translates the individual words making up a compound word (and German and Dutch are languages notorious for their ability to endlessly combine nouns. Eg. see https://tandem.net/blog/long-german-words) and usually is unaware of its context (eg. a "nut" has a different meaning in an engineering, dietary or psychiatry setting) but most of the time, you can get the gist of it. If not, there are plenty German members around. I could try and help you with some German and Norwegian/Swedish text/words, if needed.
BTW, searching a little further on that (Swedish) site reveals a lot more of those approach charts and the workings of the Lorenz system, including aircraft instruments. Interesting reading indeed!
