this pic is actually ment to show the smoke from the Applegate fire,but if this works,and it large enough,on the right side of the pic,way beyond the aircraft,you can spot the wooden hanger of Bill Clark, it was built back when the airport first opened,,early 30s im guessing,and it stores his all original steerman ,hes long gone,but the plane and hanger are still there completely untouched for many years..someone told me reciently it was last opened in the 50s or early 60s. Bill lost his pilots lic they say in the late 50s,so im going with the late 50s for the last time its been opened..he was a grumpy old cuss,only reason he liked me was i worked hard when at his house,no crap..just work..he would then show me his 1939 Lincoln Zephyr (auto correct spelt it that way),he seemed to think it was a reward to me...lol..and it was..it too was all original and well kept,with around 10,000 miles on it in the late 80s.
