Beautiful work Duckie! Al repaints you did so far look absolutely stunning, but this olive drab/bare metal one is definitely my favourite so far.

Cheers,
Huub

That's turned out to be a beautiful paint scheme Duckie. :applause:

Thanks Milton. It's name is what drew me to it. The scheme is about the same as doing a 4 color camo scheme, except that one of the colors is "bare metal!" But now it's done, it should be good for a couple more like it.

You're doing a great job here Duckie! :applause:

Thank you Dimus.

Georgia's On My Mind" is in the books! Moving on.

It's a striking livery Duckie in every detail. Thank you Sir.

Thanks to each of you gentlemen for your kind and encouraging remarks.

Thanks also, Milton, for the "sales and service support" for your outstanding model!

Thanks also go out to you, Marty, for your beautiful and inspiring weathered worn paint jobs for the Marauder!

B-26B Flak Bait being restored at the Smithsonian

My brother was recently at the Smithsonian Mary Baker Engen Restoration Hangar at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA where he got this great picture of the most famous B-26 of them all. Great for modelling.

This is a wonderful project and all you guys working on it are producing a real masterpiece! When can we expect some of the paints and paint kit to be available?

DaveQ, I think the general answer would be, "Once we have some interior textures (VC, navigator and radar areas, bomb bay, and rear gunners area), then we can assemble a complete package."

I do not know when that will be. I know of one person definitely working on the interior now, and maybe a second one. Then when Wellis becomes available from the A-20 Havoc project, he said he would take on the interior. The interior is essentially the whole length of the aircraft and will be a non-trivial task, and I would suggest that will be as involved as the first layered paint kit texture. There are a lot of 3D things that must be considered inside that further complicate the textures. That's why it takes longer to model and map the interior than the exterior.

Thanks for that Milton, I quite understand; of course we must wait until it's all finished. I'd really like to be involved but I don't get the time I once did for big projects such as this.

DaveQ, I know when you do get involved, the results are always outstanding. Thanks for your many contributions to the sim world.
