• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

No, its not an Ilyushin...

Don't know how this one sneaked under the radar, over at Avsimrus, the chap that goes by the handle of 'monumentum'
has produced versions of both IL-76MD and the Beriev A50 (AEW) variant with VC added for fs2004 .

Be warned it uses the project Tupolev 'JoyService gauge' to configure your joystick so you need to do that (from views-2d panel menu) before it will fly right, SteveB will love this!

Ok downloaded it, installed it and when I tried too fly it, caused my flightsim too stop responding on load. So I may reserve judgment on whether I love it or not at this time.:biggrin-new:

The A50 is ok, for the IL-76 look in the model folder, youll find all the development versions are there as well, keep the model that conforms to the model cfg file and remove the rest, that should sort it out.

I get the same problem with the A50 as well, no worries I'm locking myself into the paint shed for the evening.
