Any good models out there? I only see CFS2 repaints ... :help: The GW3 affliction continues ... I

'm hoping for maybe a French Armee' del Air paint, but will settle for whatever is out there!

thanks!

search for SIMTECH at the various sites... Tom made a p-39 and there are a couple of different packages floating around.
Ito did the p-63 but it likely still has the 'odd' airfile

At some point, I will be uploading the CFS2 stock aircraft (well, the overhauled and updated versions of the stock CFS2 planes) that I have tweaked for FS2004....using The B-24 Guy's original overhaul kits, FS2004 flight dynamics by Bill Chicilo...with some tweaks by me on lights, effects, VC viewpoints, and shined MDLs. Not sure when I will have that project done FINALLY....I had planned to upload them nearly a month ago.

THe CFS2 P-39 is the best freeware model in my opinion and there are tons of repaints for it.

Great - thanks all!

Obio, looking forward to your P-39 pack (and your Tempest II paint ...teehee). Seriously, I know you've got a lot on the go.

Gavin, these look great to me - many thanks!!!

Thanks chaps,

Indeed, the simTech P-39 is quite nice indeed. Some packages "call out" for repaints that match the level of the mdel, but I found the stock paints quite nice.

What's interesting is the stall and spin characteristics seem fairly well modelled - I'm pretty happy overall.

cheers,

dl
