There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Very nice pic. I love Red Tail Hawks...my favorite bird of prey. We have a pair of Red Tails that roost on the other side of the "lake"...really just a decently big pond...and I love watching them soar around the property. One day, the male was perched on the railing of our patio, just outside our living room window. I stood in the hallway for a good 40 minutes or so, watching him prune his feathers and bask in the sun before resuming the hunt.
Today I saw one of the Herons (Lesser Gray I do believe) fly across the meadow...so I know spring is just around the corner...that and the Red Wing Black Birds are beginning to reappear in the marsh along the north side of the pond....between the Red Wings and the frogs and toads, spring time evenings are a symphony of nature...very relaxing as we sit out on the patio in the evenings.
