Blackbird FG-1D Corsair updated for FS2024 compatibility

This isn't a native FS2024 SDK upgrade, but they've fixed the glitches that prevented proper operation in FS2024. Works great in the sim now, which makes me happy as it's one of my favorite warbirds. If you already own it, you should have an email with the link to the update. If you don't already own it, it's highly recommended. And I'm fine with it not being "native" as I won't exactly be flying it in career mode, and all the excellent repaints still work.

Yes I got this, this morning, and I believe it incorporates a lot of FD changes I had worked on for FS 2024. Biggest beef I always had in 2024 was The freezing of the instruments if one opened the hood. 2024 has no binding for the canopy opening so one has to use the tool tip.

Been flying this a lot lately using the WWII Midway Island scenery I ported from 2020.
 
I finally got around to flying this latest update in 2024, and it is superb! Though not 2024-native, you would be hard pressed not to believe it is, as everything seems to work flawlessly, including a full manual cold startup. I had been using the latest beta version in 2024 and the starter switch had been broken/wasn't working, but that has been fixed with this official update. One of the more accurate-feeling warbird flight models, in my opinion.
 
Yes, the Corsair has always been one of my favorite birds. I miss the carrier ops we had in P3D. Happy enough with the new one to delete the development horse I had been working with for some time. It could use a few more polys in the hose nose, but I like it a lot.

The Zero is out now and it is also a very nice flyer. It flys in my opinion very much with the feel of a real plane. The sim still doesn't do a great job with tail wheel locks.
