C-130 carrier landing video...

Although I know the USN tested C-130 carrier landing/take offs; I didn't know the LSOs instructed the pilot to reverse props 4 ft from the deck! That must have been a scary experience! Sounds like a good mission for FSX! NC

I noticed that when I head/read the narrative about that. It did T&G's as well. That must of been a surgical approach to the FD as the starboard wing tip was pretty close to touching the island.

I would be willing to bet I can easily find some next Tuesday, which is my weekly volunteer job at the Naval Aviation Museum. In fact, it probably wouldn't take long to find a lot of pictures of it.

My first day was this past Tuesday. Would have been much sooner, but they had an incorrect email address, and had been trying to reach me, unsuccessfully.

But my first day was awesome! I was inventorying a box of donated artifacts, i.e. pictures, letters, brochures, etc.... and putting the information into a database for ease of location. Unbelievable stuff!!!

Thanks, Motormouse!

You see, I have a friend at work (retired Senior Chief CT) who I told about this. He said it's BS!
Well, tonight I get to prove him wrong!

NC, I think you've found your dream job! I'd love to work/volunteer at the museum at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard about 15 miles away in Bremerton, but I just don't have time because I work nights.

Thanks again!!!!!!!!!

Mark

Thanks for this. I had seen that video before, but it had been a very long time back when the AHC/Military channel was the Wings Channel in the early 90's.
