Visited the Missouri Wing of the CAF today. I missed the B-25, as it had just left for an airshow someplace. The MO Wing is not huge, only a few planes, but they are the friendliest bunch you could ever meet. They quickly convinced me to join the outfit with the revelation of perks which include rides. In a B-25?? Where do I sign up? This T-6 left while I was there. Got to stand right next to it as she fired up and taxied off. Very cool.
Do you people realize how teeny tiny an L-3 is? And it looks so fragile. While standing there looking at it I wondered how the heck one gets into the thing without breaking it! I'd love to get a ride in that one! There was a TBM in the hangar too, but it was dark in there so I didn't get a pic. It was a beautiful day in MO today, as you can see.
