• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Captain Sim He-111 Released

No joys with this one! Mag and fuel pump switches don’t function and about half way through the take off roll the right engine cuts. Every single time. I’ve checked the fuel and I’m not over boosting it or over revving it. Very odd!

Very strange! That hasn't happened to me at all, and I have taken her up a few times already in all sorts of weather!

Priller

Great pic - do we know how it got into that configuration?
Seems relatively unscathed despite the bend,

My guess is that it was blown up from underneath. An attempt to destroy it when they were forced to retreat.

Yeah, based on the rubble, crater on the port side, damage to the port horizontal stabilizer, and the vertical stabilizer damage and dent to the rudder, I'd say you're right. Looks like a bomb landed just to the left and just behind it, the shockwave flipped it onto the nose, and the damaged structure couldn't support the weight of the tail.

Amazing picture.
