One of the most successfull WW1 bombers, this Italian twin-boom tri-motor biplane was designed by Gianni Caproni in 1915, and 4,015 units were built until 1929. The prototype had rotary 87 Hp Gnome engines, and production began with 100 Hp Fiats, later changing to 150 Hp Isotta Fraschini engines.
