Challenging Airstrips

I just flew a Cessna 337 from Medford, OR to Crater Lake and back with current real weather turned on.

Did touch and go on both Prospect State airstrip and Mucky Flats airstrip, then back to full stop at Medford.

Very challenging in light fog...

I managed to do so without crashing and was glad for the power of the 337 climbing out of both.

Anyone have their favorite challenging airstrips?

I have to say, my challenging airstrip is the old Hong Kong airport known as Kai Tak. To many, it could be easy... but I still try to hone my landings on runway 13.

I made one for FS9 years ago

Allison Ranch Airstrip in Idaho

Search in the library for Allison and it will be partway down the page. It really needs a nice mesh for the scenery to be really challenging. Read the Readme file.

Sorry to revive an old topic... but recently I am trying out the Tenzing Hillary airport at Lukla, Nepal in the Himalayas. I find that a challenging airport due to high altitude and the small runway.
