Lilski's Tri-Champ in FSX, paint by John Humphries...:ernae:

Had a search but no luck. Where can one find John Humphries's paints - including the one in your sig?

Also, where'd you find a Tri-Champ? I know they had a tail dragger, but can't find the Tri-Champ.

Dave, Lilski posted a link for the Tri-Champ in this forum back on October 19th, so you can find it there. I tried to copy/past for you, no joy...:ernae:

Hi pointy31 did you do anything special (adapted files) for making it work in FSX?

Anneke :wavey:

No, nothing, everything seems to work OK. The VC seems to work too. The prop texture could use a bit of help. I also use the L-16A (Lilski's) tho most of the gauges in the VC are in-op.

Would you mind PM'ing your adapted prop texture? I' have really two left hands with that stuff...

Anneke :wavey:

Yep, any of the Champ paints work as long as you keep DX10Preview unchecked. Check that and you will only get a white model. It flies like a charm in FSX too, just like it does in FS9. Do take you a screenshot of each model and save opne in 400 pixel width as thumbnail.jpg and put it in the respective texture folder. This way you will not have a blank airplane show up.

I don't mind Kevin's prop. If BB does one, that'd be nice,

Pointy, ain't yo coonass got enough paints out of John and' I yet! :d

Having way too much fun with Piglet's Mooney Mite right now, but ya jus' never know!

Did have to take a dusk flight around the city in one of my Trikes.

Very cool, I had forgotten about the Trike, off to get her installed! :ernae:

Ain't she sweet...

Amen. Off to try this in FSX and with John's paints.

Having spent (too) much time slamming fast jets on carrier decks in FS, a recent visit to a NE grass strip on a sunny Sunday morning re-aquainted me with the joys and simplicity of post WWII light GA aircraft. Watched a J-3 land and chatted with its owner about it and his other planes there, an early C180 tail dragger (handsome plane) and an Aeronca chief.

Low and slow, the way to go . . :wavey:
