• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

I was just looking through some old posts, and happened upon some started by C9Gal. Is she still around? Anyone know? NC
 
Talked regularly with her this past summer on facebook........ she de-activated her acct. early Fall.....nothing since. I haven't tried her email address. Maybe she went back to her maiden name...... I'll check it out and let ya know.

Well, I am most sorry to hear that. For whatever reason (s) she had for leaving, I wish her well. She corresponded with me, giving me kind words during a divorce I went through. Please convey my best to her when next you communicate with her. Thanks. Pete

It had to have been very very recently. As far as I know, she is still married. Unless you know something factual Lucky, I don't think it is fair to her to even insinuate such a thing. She emailed me Happy Birthday on Christmas and mentioned that they were going over to his family for dinner.

She often spoke about several of you and enjoyed the friendships. We were like big brothers to her. I consider myself fortunate to have gotten to know her. Her father died at a relative young age. Maybe, I became something of a father figure to her? I do know that she is a private person and values her privacy. I think we should all respect her wishes. If she shared something with you, it was because she trusted you. Please keep that trust.

If she ever decides to come back, she will. If not, we were blessed to have her around for a time.
 
I'm not on here much, but I do remember her and wish her well. She was always very kind to me :naturesm:
 
When C9G first arrived at SOH with her interesting shoes, I jokingly suggested that she was actually a 250lb football player....
(this was in the Cantina where she liked to hang out). Boyhowdy, was I ever wrong !!

When she left SOH and we became "friends" on facebook, I checked out her photo albums.......
C9G is 100% female and "drop-dead-gorgeous"!!!! Sweet and petite, bedroom eyes , a classical beauty.......

We were very lucky for her visits and humor....

On occasion she would respond to my posts at the Cantina. She was kind, gentle soul and had a good sense of humor, always wishing me the best. All I can do is return the favor now. Hope all is well with her... :engel016:

I to used to like her presence around the Cantina, but maybe we should just leave her alone now and let her roll on with her life.:wavey:

I'm only a newbie compared to some of the SOH'ers here, but in the time I've been posting here I've seen many users come and go. Flight simmers have phases of interest in the hobby,from what I gather...at least that's the way it is for me. Sometimes I might not "fly" for periods of several months,maybe more, when suddenly I am drawn back to firing up the sim.

I sure where ever C9Gal is that she's enjoying real life challenges outside of the confines of PC gaming. :)

Very true. I, myself, have not been active with fligh simming for over two years now. I am gradually getting back to it.

I was just curious if anyone had heard from C9Gal is all. There are a lot of wonderful folks who belong to this forum, C9Gal included:)
