Controller settings file location?

Does anyone know where the controllers settings file might be located? I've spent a good portion of today trying to get things running after the mistake of trying safe mode to launch yesterday. I'm debating on trying a re-install, but really don't want to have to re-map my HOTAS and Rudders...
BTW, my STRONGEST recommendation is to avoid using safe mode at all cost.

My impression is that it is in the cloud. Any modification to the bindings takes forever to load and save and can change or just disappear. Bindings are a major frustration. I can only wish they were on our computers.

The controller settings are stored locally, I have the them in folder:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\SystemAppData\wgs

For Steam users, the folder may be different. Anyway, the settings are encrypted, you cannot edit them with Notepad like FSX/P3D. The only thing you can do with these files is do a backup.

If you select your controller and then aircraft type (I have separate control configurations for aircraft & helicopters, etc.), click on the little gear icon, giving you the option to export/import your settings file. I discovered this by accident, and it's a Godsend should you need to reset your computer.
