Hi Good People,

A batch of Douglas DC3 liveries are almost ready for release over at the Ford Tri-Motor Project Site.

We were going to release a batch of 14 but three last minute additions have been added - An almost chrome version, a Douglas DC3 Demonstrator predominantly white bodied and a fully buffed metal Douglas DC3 Demonstrator.
So now a batch of 17, possibly more :wiggle:, should be ready for a November Launch.

Now THERE'S a classic multi-role aircraft... Military and Civil, the "Gooney" saw it all! Thanks for all the excellent gifts over the years, Garry and Ed! :very_drunk:

You Welcome mate - yes the old DC3 was certainly versatile - I can't think of a task that this girl didn't do somewhere, sometime in her long and arduous career in aviation.

Once again, Garry & Ed, for all you guys have done for our hobby.

& I just have to ask.... your damaged textures are quite stunning..

Of course you know my next question is to ask if we are gonna get a damaged or a 'wood-look' DC3? :jump::jump::jump:

Hi Mate,

Glad your enjoying the "Damaged" liveries

No War style damage girls for the DC3 run - however, there is a small batch of super dirty/rusty girls in this batch - surf to the site and check out the images of the Manchurian, Moore Freighter and the two GULL girls.

The Moore girl is very close to not being airworthy :biggrin-new:

Regards

Sorry, Should have mentioned that these liveries are for the Default Microsoft Douglas DC3 - will work in both FS2004 and FSX versions for the simulator.

No doubt the MAAM team did a great deal better in their texture mappings than MS did for the Default girls - but even with those limitations we have created a vibrant batch of liveries for her.

Regards
