A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FSX Military skins - General

Description: This is a repaint of Rob Richardson's excellent de Havilland Sea Venom F.A.W. 21 to represent XG607 from 893 Sqdn., Fleet Air Arm when embarked on H.M.S Victorious in 1959. The boom fairings were coloured either grey or some other colour; I've chosen to paint them red because it looks cool but could also be blue...! Also I've deleted the 'dents' from the tip tanks on the bump map - think it looked way overdone. The underwing serials are about the right size, consistent with photos, but the texture mapping of the speed brakes, gear doors and flaps makes them look less than ideal.

Thanks for releasing this Dave:encouragement:

No knowledge of red boom fairings ('cept 1 example used for missile trials and they were orange). They would have been either sky or upper surface colour. Looks cool in red though and typical of the era;) Nice work getting rid of the tip-tank dents.. the originals were awful. Had the same problem with the underwing reg which is why I released mine too small.

Cheers Dave.. much appreciated:encouragement:
