It wouldn't really have helped them. The aircraft was complex to build and used a lot of resources. Nevertheless it could be only on one spot at the same time.

It is more or less the same with the German tanks. They were high quality, but just too few.

Exactly Huub, the Germans would have been better served if they had abandoned those projects and focused only on producing 190's as Galland had recommended,

I agree, the Pfeil was a hell of a design but if they had stuck with the late 109's, late Focke Wulf's and pushed a pure fighter 262(getting it in the air a year earlier than it's design change order to a bomber forced a delay), the daylight bombing could have been ground to a halt. It was bad enough as it was. Myself and two other good friends here had family members who were B-17 crew members during the War. Hearing them talk about what they went through gives me chills. These guys I knew only flew about 1/3 of their missions without P-51 escorts but even after the Mustang's arrived, it was still pretty rough. My uncle told me when the Me 262's started showing up, there was pretty much zero they could do about them. Way too fast passing through the box formation on slashing attacks. The late model Focke Wulf and 109G10/14 and K's were nearly as bad he claimed. As noted here, he said there just wasn't enough of them to turn the tide. He speculated had more of these late prop types and more of the jets been available to the Luftwaffe, things could have ended up different or at the very least prolonging the inevitable.

Well guys as my country was occupied for 5 years, I think most people here were glad the Germans took some wrong decisions which shortened the war a bit. Strange enough after the war a lot of countries took advantage from research done by the Germans during the war. Where would we have been in space without the German scientists?

Quite right, failure to get hold of the russian oil fields not to mention the complete failure of the african campaign and the projected seizure of the suez canal and later of arabia and the regular pounding of rumanian petrol industry made it impossible for Germany to win the war and that was about obvious as early as mid 1942, all the wuderwaffen stuff was clear propaganda too bad it took the OKW such a long time to realize and that Hitler went on for another 3 years

Absolutely Hubb! My uncle often said that the enemy's mistakes and misfortunes in war became the allies fortunes both in paving the road to victory and in capturing the sciences which caused great horror and bloodshed. He always spoke of how it was in those dark times and that he hoped and prayed that future generations never had to endure such as his generation did. He was a great man and were he still alive today, any of you would enjoy talking to him and his jokes!

Well, they did have quite a few already by late 1944, unfortunatly gas wasn´t available to make them run and expert pilots were being called for other jobs

That's because the good ol' 8th Army Air Force was carpet bombing the living daylights outta the German ball bearing plants, oil and fuel supplies, etc... The Allies had literally exausted the resources that the Germans needed to continue fighting the war. (Among other things)
