Douglas A20 Havoc

Calling Milton.

It's taken a while but I have hit a problem painting cammo's. There seems too be something weird on the texture mapping on the C model nose.

Interesting that is just now showing up with all the paints that have been done. I'll check it out. Thanks.

Steve,

I found and corrected the issue.

Please try the attached model replacement folders and report back.

Thanks

Milton, after seeing Steve's post I looked at the SAAF paint and sure enough there was a little bit of red from the left side "CC". Hadn't noticed it before because it was so small a fragment. The model you just uploaded fixed it.

Great that the fix worked. Thanks for checking. It will be included in the beta release.

Any painters working currently on the "C" model may download from the post above if necessary to correct a similar issue.

Hello Steve,

-this one is beautiful! :applause:
Thank you!
However in the file for aircraft.cfg, you must add the line: sim = A20C after the title! ;)

Oops I'll change the entry. Thanks for the Heads up. I will have a new RAF crew done in the next hour or so, RAF battle dress jackets on both the pilot and Bombardier.

Steve

Working on the cockpit lighting for the "C". Trying to get the odds and ins finished up before converting other models to FSX native.

This lighting is important especially for the night fighter P-70 series.

Nearly there! But when you put them together in a picture like this you always see things you missed, or were just wrong in the profile your used :banghead:

Thanks Wellis .
But as you probably know un painting a plane is a lot more difficult than splashing paint on them, and I don't have as many hours spare, so it's going too be a while.

Yes, I do understand. I'd thought about doing one myself, but realized it was gonna be a l-o-o-o-n-g learning experience. So I thought I'd save that for something else in the future. :)

I need some help on the Havoc.
Am I correct in thinking that the red bits are fabric ?

Thanks in advance
Steve
