Dynamic registration help . . .

So, I have this irrational obsession with customizing any plane I fly. Recently, I got into flying the Hughes H-4, and so I set about to put my personal touches on it -- which includes my favorite fictional registration "N85AX." I have had no trouble with most planes who have dynamic registration or painted registrations. However, the Hercules' registration isn't on the paint, and it doesn't respond to my registration the way dynamic registration planes do. I can't find any decal in the texture files, either. All I can think of is that the registration is somehow in the model? I've tried entries in the livery.cfg to make it transparent or change it to my numbers with no success.

Anyway, I would be very grateful if anyone could help me figure out how to change the registration (or make it invisible) on this legendary bird.

I don't remember how, but I seem to have lost the dynamic registration on my paints for it, like this one: https://flightsim.to/addon/44249/hughes-h-4-hercules-us-air-force

Maybe use that as a base for your repaint?

Thanks. I'll give that a look and see if you've done something different. I didn't have this problem with my 2020 version, though. There seems to be something different about the 2024 version, but I can't effectively look for it because of the file encryptions.

mine is the 2020 version, so not sure it will help then...
