    Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

    You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

    If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

    To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

EGQL RAF Leuchars 1957-61

RAF fighter station on the east coast of Scotland. I wanted to give a bit of love to the Gloster Javelin, so ive gone for
57-61 era with 151 sqd Javelins in residence, sharing the flight line with 43 sqd Hunters.
Ive done quick and dirty repaints for both John Youngs
elin and Hunter, available from MAIW, traffic file is also included
I may replace the Hunters and Jav's with Lightnings at a later date before anyone ask's, but there's other stuff i want to do first



If your a fan of AVP's cold war era scenery's, you probably have most of these objects anyway, but just to recap---

1,MAIW Global Scenery Library Objects (FS9) will be needed from the file library at https://militaryaiworks.com/

2,The FS2004 Custom Scenery Library Files 1 and 2, available at California Classics http://www.calclassic.com/scenery.htm Or at Flightsim.com

3,EGMH RAF Manston Scenery.zip will be needed for extra obs, find in SOH FS9 scenery library

This just makes me want to try and rescue my HDD with all my FS stuff on it just to install this. Haven't launched a sim in to long, so may endeavour over the time off I have. Too many memories going yearly to the air shows there with my late father to not want to do this and set up some custom September traffic for them. Granted this was in the early eighties, but knowing our penchant for slow progress in this nation, shouldn't be too different.
 
Hi, DR. there was a version by Stephen Legg/UKMIL which was 1980+ complete with Tornado-Phantom ai, but if you like the look of my version better, i cant argue with that :encouragement:
 
I have (sorry, had) several FS9 installs, So this one would be right at home in my '60s silverwings install, I have the ukmil one in my 80's install already, complete with Phantoms & Lightning AI. So all is good.
