• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

FDG2 B-17 Bases in FS9 and FSX

I have installed the FDG2 B-17 Bases in FS9 and in FSX. The AFCADS show tower and ground frequencies. The Map view in both FSX and FS9 shows the frequencies for ground and tower as the same in the AFCADS. When I select any airport in the scenery file the ATC always says Traffic on 122.90 and does not give me the option to tune the ground or tower frequencies. The scenery and parking locations show excellent in both FSX and FS9. What is wrong? Thanks, regards, Bob.
 
you need to add them yourself using afcad, it's explained in the afcad manual how to do it, I can't remember at the momment how to, so that's the little help I can be.

Unless someone knows if modded afcads have been uploaded anywhere?

Look under Cees Donker's name in the downloads. Cees did a whole bunch of USAAF airfields for FS9.

Hi. Thanks. The frequencies are already in the AFCADS. The map view shows the correct ground and tower frequencies. The problem is that when I select any of the bases the ATC only has the default 122.90 traffic frequency availkable which is not in any of the AFCADS. Regards, Bob.

i personally hate ATC so obviously i dont use it :running:
but ill check anyhow

Hi Henry. Forget the problem. I found out that whoever setup the tower and ground frequencies in the AFCADS had them all wrong. They were out of the range of frequencies for the ground and tower frequencies. I reset them all in FS9 and FSX and the scenery works GREAT now. I also added taxiways. Best regards, Bob.
