After 40 years, well not really 40 as the early years were spent in diapers, of wearing underwear that simply was not comfortable until they were worn out and rather tatty....I have found some underwear that is comfortable right from the package. I have big legs....my calves are 22 rock-hard inches in diameter and my thighs are simply unreal! I have always had these over-sized, overly muscled legs.....and that fact has prevented me from being able to find under wear that was comfortable as the leg openings on briefs are way too small, boxers....just can't handle that "free fall" feeling. Well, last night I picked up a pack of boxer briefs while at Walmart. Just got out of the shower a little bit ago and put on a pair of them...and wow! Instant comfort. The shorts are made of a cloth that is stretchy and soft....almost as soft as a good t-shirt...but stretchy! The legs openings actually have enough room to accomodate my tree-truck thighs...no squeezing, no rubbing, no binding. And none of that "free fall" feeling that normal boxer shorts produce. The brand name on these boxer briefs is Puritan. Like $8 for 4 pair. And they don't make my butt look big...which is another good thing about them.

I don't have the problems you have even with my size ... as I go regimental. "Free fall" is the best. :bump:
 
It may seem a bit odd doing a post about under shorts...but I did so in an effort to help my sim brothers...especially those who are married or who have a girlfriend. The women in our lives are always telling us that we need to buy new underwear and stop wearing the ones with all the holes and worn out elastic...but it isn't until under shorts are in that condition do they become comfortable. And women just don't understand the importance of comfortable clothing. They intentionally wear underwear that goes up their hind ends for goodness sake. Sure, thongs look nice, but I bet they aren't comfortable. And high heels? What could be comfortable about walking around on your toes all day long...but they wear them because it makes them look better. Men, we could care less if clothes make us look good or not...we want comfort. Tuxedos look nice, but they aren't comfortable...so we only wear them for weddings and proms and other events that that we really would rather not attend in the first place....almost like a visual sign of the duress under which we were forced into attending those events.

So, if my post and recommendation for these Puritan boxer briefs helps just one man find comfortable underwear that isn't full of holes and that gets his wife/girlfriend to shut up and stop nagging at him.....I have increased his comfort level in two ways.

Depends? NO! These aren't adult diapers....I won't need them until I am old...which won't happen for another decade or so.

My doc keeps telling me this joke about starting out in diapers and departing in diapers. I wonder if he is trying to tell me something. We used to call thongs 10%ers. We thought the other 90% dissapeared somewhere.

Your topic is of *great* interest to me, for reasons I shan't go into, here :male:, but I have what'll probably sound like a silly question:

Are they comfortable when you bend-over and touch (almost touch?) your toes? A little more specifically, do The Boys suffer any discomfort from bending-over forwards?

Enquiring minds, and aching parts are keen to know!! :icon_lol:

The boys are quite happy in these boxer briefs. No binding, no bunching, no smashing, no pinching.

Ok, so we finally have a man, who's "man" enough to talk about his undies in a public forum. Not only does OBIO feel comfortable discussing his undies, but he also makes it a point to talk about his "free falling" concerns, the binding, pinching and smashing that occurs with the "family jewels" sometimes.

Now as far as thongs & high heels.....yeah, thongs can be a pain in the bum sometimes but for the most part, they are pretty comfortable and needed when wearing certain styles of pants or skirts. Pantylines are never attractive or in fashion.

High heels however, ahhhhhhh, high heels!! I go gaga over them. I wear them every day!! I LOVE shoes and have quite the collection in my closet! Yes, I will admit, some pairs can really hurt my feet, but darnit, they make my legs look good so its all worth it. Some women will disagree with me and say that comfort is better...yes, it is....but I still prefer to wear high heels.

Ok so two thumbs up to OBIO, a peck on the cheek with that and we are all set!

I've purchased clothing made by Puritan, it's widely available at WalMart. I've not been impressed by the quality or durability of Puritan brand clothing, it seems to wear out much sooner than slightly more expensive brands. As for boxer briefs, I remember either Hanes or Fruit of the Loom making them in the late 1970's and early 80's. I tried them, they were ok.

You're spot on about these underwear they are awesome and look good too ask my wife, especially if you have the package to put in 'em. (hehehe)
They come in 4 different colors and like my mama always said you're underwear and socks should look great if you're in a car wreck and loose your pants LOL...now be nice to my little old mama please. Viva la Walmart!
