For those who use VR, I have notified the developer that the VR view needs adjusting as it currently places you outside the aircraft ahead of the starboard wing. I temporarily fixed it by changing the cameras.cfg file.

Below, you see the last section in that cfg. I changed the InitialXyz line to read "= 0, 0.08, 0.2" and at the bottom added two // lines with the new and old values for reference. If you do this please back up your original cfg first. Most of you know that of course, but...

I agree, the response is cold. Pity, the aircraft is beautiful. Some issues yes, but a worthy effort that should be enjoyed, not criticized. Although, even after all these years, the Dave Garwood freeware still looks pretty good too. I consider Mike to have created the natural successor to the Garwood, and that's a compliment.

I love Mike's work. He picks subjects generally ignored by others, and creates a nice balance between usability and detail. I do wish he would bring us a Canadian "C" version of the Tiger Moth, complete with the canopy.

Below... Mike's Rapide takes the lead, followed by a Garwood example off the right wing.

There's a few small shape differences & details between the two, mainly the cabin windows & the nose shape but really they are both great. I might spring for the Flight Replicas version, I like their products...

Nice work as always Jankees. Here is a request. I recall the logo saying "Royal Air Force Sports Parachute Association" Have not found a clearer image yet. I was offered a flight in her at RAF Abingdon in the early 1970s. Air Cadet summer camp. Sadly our camp Commanding Officer said no. I have wished all my life that I had told him where to shove his "no", and gone for the flight. ... G-AGSH in the 1970's
