Flight1 Cessna 310L

Replaced the missing gauges and made a pop-up for switches. I was able to use "autostart" to crank both engines and replaced the prop blur with a better looking one.

Well, I'm content that what I have is flyable, but I did try an experiment. I thought that possibly because I used the "setup.exe" file rather than going through the wrapper system (never did like that) that maybe there was an "anti-theft" program inserted to keep everything from working as it should. . . .ahh nope, lol

Even installing using the wrapper it made no difference. I did notice that starting from the VC (as already noted earlier) only the left engine would start. . .but then die about 20 seconds later. If I started from the 2D cockpit both engines started and remained running.

My first ever payware for $22! All those years ago . . Sweet looking shorter nose C310 always looked better to my eyes.

Now if some clever person could run it through the MCX model converter thing so it works in P3D 64 bit!

I agree, unfortunately it's still being sold for the same price on Flight1
Luckily I did find that Rob Richardson's 310B FSX version does work in P3D4.4. I like it because there is a "Songbird" and USAF "Blue Canoe" texture available --.

The real Songbird from the Sky King TV series was a "B" model. A somewhat "dumpy" version compared to sleeker models as the 310 evolved. It makes me think of the Piper APACHE evolution to the later AZTEC versions.

I made own modifications for this F1/Dremfleet 310 (replaced gauges, converted model and replaced effects) so i can use this outstanding model in p3d v5.
Works pretty well, uses mostly default p3d gauges also i did this same modification for 177/177RG.

Very nice Toni, that's what it needs. Wish I could learn how to do conversions like that as well. Too bad this airplane wasn't upgraded long ago as a Native FSX model, but as long as Flight1 holds onto it it'll have to remain just a portover.
